Live captions and recording history run on your own machine, so this list is short: it covers the vendors behind billing, account email, and download delivery.
These are the actual subprocessors that support the XNN Translate (formerly StreamTranslate Studio) hosted surfaces. Live captions and recording history run locally on your device, and the XNN Translate backend is self-hosted by XNN, so this list is intentionally short.
Stripe — payments
Stripe processes card payments, subscriptions, and refunds. It receives the billing data needed to charge and refund you. XNN never stores your full card details.
Cloudflare provides content delivery, the secure tunnel that fronts our self-hosted backend, and R2 object storage for assets such as installer downloads. It handles network traffic and stored objects, not your live caption content.
Purpose: CDN, secure tunnel, and R2 object storage
Our transactional email and SMTP provider, Infomaniak (Infomaniak Network SA, Switzerland), delivers account, sign-in, billing, and support emails. It processes your email address and message content for those messages. The XNN Translate backend itself is self-hosted by XNN, so no other vendor receives your data.
Purpose: transactional and support email delivery
Self-hosted backend; no other vendors receive your data
