Data Processing Addendum for business and Studio customers.
This addendum supports business and Studio customers who need written terms for the personal data XNN LLC processes on their behalf. For most individual customers, the privacy notice and the local-by-default processing model already cover how data is handled.
Roles: controller and processor
Where you use XNN Translate (formerly StreamTranslate Studio) to process personal data of your own end users, you act as the data controller and XNN LLC acts as the data processor, processing that data only on your documented instructions to provide the service. Audio and captions processed locally on a user's device remain outside XNN's hosted processing unless explicitly shared.

Subprocessors and security
XNN uses a limited set of subprocessors (payments, CDN/storage, and transactional email) listed on the subprocessors page, and applies the safeguards described on the security page. We notify customers of material subprocessor changes.
XNN assists controllers in responding to data-subject access, correction, deletion, and portability requests, and supports deletion or return of personal data at the end of the engagement. To put a signed DPA in place or raise a request, contact [email protected].
