This notice explains what data XNN LLC collects when you use the XNN Translate (formerly StreamTranslate Studio) website, account, and desktop app, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it. The most privacy-sensitive part of the product — live captions and recording history — is processed locally on your own device by default.
What we collect
To provide the service we collect: your account email and name; your subscription and billing state (plan, device count, renewal status); your device registrations; support tickets you send us; and any diagnostic logs you voluntarily upload when asking for help. We do not collect your live audio or caption content.

Live captions stay on your device
By default, speech recognition, translation, live captions, and your recording history are processed locally on your own machine. That audio and caption content is not transmitted to XNN to be transcribed, translated, or stored. It leaves your device only if you explicitly choose a managed or support-sharing action.
Card payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We receive subscription and billing status from Stripe, but XNN never stores your full card number or card security details. Stripe processes payment data under its own privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.

Retention and your rights
We keep account and billing records for as long as your account is active and as required to meet legal and tax obligations, then delete or anonymize them. Under GDPR and CCPA you can access, export, correct, or delete your personal data, and object to or restrict certain processing. Exercise these rights from your account or by contacting us at [email protected].
